" The SLCC Summer Bridge Program is your opportunity to prepare for
success in college. Recent high school graduates who make satisfactory progress in a high school CTE pathway course receive full-ride scholarship towards tuition, fees, and required books in eligible programs up to 12-months from graduation. This is an exciting time and also a time where you (and your parents) likely have a lot of questions as you finalize your decision and prepare to start your first semester at the U. If you are an admitted student for summer or fall 2021, this session is for you. Parents, you are invited too!
Join representatives from the offices of admissions, scholarships & financial aid, on-campus housing, academic advising, and new student orientation for a live conversation where you can get answers to questions you may have. During the live Q & A conversation we will also have individual chat rooms for each office open to give you options in how you might like to ask your questions. We will be offering these sessions on select Mondays at 6:30 pm Mountain Time through July 2021. These are the main points about the scholarship: - High school seniors participate in a design-thinking community building project: - Design & work on a community improvement project. - Submit final design thinking project application by May 28, 2021. - There will be up to 5 awardees, each receiving a $10,000 scholarship to the US-based college, university, or trade school of their choice.
