This is a one-time only scholarship and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while funds are available. Scholarship Qualifications: - Scholarship semester selected must be the student’s first semester attending SLCC. Students who have participated in concurrent enrollment classes are eligible to apply. - Student must register for and complete 9 or more credit hours at SLCC in the semester the scholarship is awarded. - Student must be a U.S. citizen/eligible non-citizen and a Utah resident. - Student needs to complete the 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). "Student must submit a 200-word essay sharing their thoughts on the General Financial Literacy Course they took or are currently taking in high school and describe how it will help them plan for their financial future. Students must create and upload a unique 60-second video describing three important skills they learned from financial literacy class and how those skills will help them prepare for college and life after college.
